GLOBAL SOCIETY FOR INITIATIVES AND CAMPAIGNS IN EDUCATION

Global Society for Initiatives and Campaigns in Education (www.gsiceducation.org) is a not-for-profit society registered under the Societies Registration Act 1860 in the state of Uttarakhand, India. Incorporated on 25th of August 2011, the society has a combination of professionals, entrepreneurs and teachers across varied age groups as its founder members.

The founder members collectively bring to the Society a lot of experience as well as ideas, energy and enthusiasm of the youth. The Society stands for ‘Equitable Enterprise in Education’. The core idea is to undertake meaningful, sincere and progressive endeavors in the field of education. The Society has entrusted one of its founder members, Puneet Chhabra to lead the initiatives of the Society.

The Society has set up and manages Confluence World School (www.confluence.edu.in) in Rudrapur Uttarakhand. Confluence World School is a child-centric, progressive, inclusive, co-educational day and day boarding school with grades from Pre-Primary to XII with CBSE affiliation. Confluence follows the teaching, learning, values and experience of The Shri Ram Schools through its collaboration with Shri Educare Limited.

Mr. Daljit Singh Dasson
Daljit Singh Dasson has BA degree and carries an experience of almost 3 decades in the business of garments production and exports. He has built his entire business from scratch and now his company exports garments to leading brands in UK and elsewhere. He has been associated with various social organizations like Roko Cancer (www.rokocancer.org).

Mr. Puneet Chhabra
Puneet has worked in the IT Industry in the SAP consulting field for about 9 years with companies like IBM and Accenture, with the last designation being a Project Manager. He left the corporate world to work in the field of education. He has an MCA from Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad, India. He did his schooling from Birla Vidya Mandir, Nainital and The Air Force School, New Delhi and B Com (Honors) from Delhi University. He has traveled extensively in India and has been to around a dozen countries in Asia, America and Europe, and has worked with varied teams spread across geographies. His other interests include Cycling and Trekking.

Mr. Jagdish Kumar
Mr. Jagdish Kumar carries an experience of about 40 years in the business field. He has set up a successful business from scratch and is one of the most respected businessmen in Rudrapur. He has been associated with and contributed to quite a few social organizations in Rudrapur in different capacities at various times. Currently, he is designated as Patron of the Nagar Vyapar Mandal, Rudrapur and Punjabi Maha Sabha, Rudrapur.

Mr. Sarvjit Singh Dassan, VP
Sarvjit Singh Dassan has a B Com degree from the University of Delhi and has an experience of almost 3 decades in the business of garments production and exports. He has built his entire business from scratch and now his company exports garments to leading brands in UK and elsewhere. He has been associated with various social organizations like Roko Cancer (www.rokocancer.org).

Mrs. Sakshi Chhabra
Sakshi Chhabra has done her schooling from the residential MLS Balika Vidya Mandir, Nainital and further education from the reputed Banasthali Vidyapeeth, Rajasthan. She has an MA degree in History from Banasthali Vidyapeeth. She is an educationist by profession. She has done her Enhancing Early Education Program (3EP) from The Shri Ram Schools. This program offers Nursery Teachers Training focused on The Shri Ram methodology and is widely accepted as one of the best programs in its class in the education sector.

Mr. Amandeep Singh Dassan
Amandeep Singh Dassan has done his Bachelor of Science in Economics Honours from University of Nottingham, UK. He has completed a Managerial Accounting and Finance course from London School of Economics. He completed his schooling from Hampton School in Middlesex, UK. He was the School mentor at Hampton. He has been a brilliant student and has participated in a lot of extra curricular and social activities at various levels. Presently, he is engaged in his family business of garment exports. His interests include travelling and reading.

Mrs. Sareen Kaur
Sareen Kaur has a BA degree from Chandigarh. She has travelled to various countries including the UK and has interacted with teachers from various school systems in India and the UK. She has been an active member of PSA, The British School, New Delhi and brings experience of how to involve parents in the development of the school.

Mrs. Raj Rani
Raj Rani is a socially active lady and has been associated with the ladies wing of the Sanatan Dharm Sabha, Rudrapur for a long time.
